Isolation Favourite’s List
May 2020 – How we’ve been keeping busy during Covid-19
What have you been up to during isolation? If you’re anything like me you’ve probably killed about 3 sourdough starters and walked around your local area a lot. Check out the list of fun things I’ve been into during lockdown.
Cooking! My life is not complete without 101 Cookbooks. Heidi brings delicious vego creations like this walnut pasta and these super easy perfect beans. This is a useful article on Solo Cooking during iso

Refreshing my mindfulness. I did this meditation course a few years ago, and have decided to do it again. I’m loving it – now feels like a great time to practice mindfulness, manage stress and connect my mind & body. There’s another one starting soon via Zoom if you’re keen to give it a try yourself.
Dancing! Luckily we’re not at work as the wonderful Betty Grumble is 99% NSFW. But her 10am dancey-aerobic Instagram Grumble Boogie is the best.
Other great online classes with Margery and Room For Movement.
Chatting with friends – staying connected with my local health professional crew, like chatting with Anna from Haven (we recorded a video chat about self-care). Arranging weekly online meetings with friends all around the world. It’s been wonderful to share our stories and stay connected.

Exploring the world – Checking out Frida’s house in Mexico. Immersing in Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room.
Dreaming of camping & nature. Binge-watching Alone Season 3 on SBS. Now, these people have some tough isolation. I’m also loving the hippy herbalist who knows which plants can heal her spider bites!! Herbs I love to use too.
Kyoko’s been busy baking Cinnamon buns and making soaps!
Vanessa has been a bit distracted with her new foster puppy Archer!
